For me, I have only used photoshop and procreate to create pages before, but I have never been exposed to and used InDesign before, and it takes a lot of time for me to learn how to use a new software before I can become proficient, so this class was a challenge for me. I watched Sing use Indesign to create a series of designs, creating skeleton fonts, some beautiful patterns, and a lot of the same graphics, which completely changed my mind about Indesign. After the class I would like to watch some Indesign videos online and figure out how to use the software myself. I did most of the work on my own, but occasionally I would ask the instructor and classmates for help when I had technical problems. Through this class, I will practice using InDesign on the weekends so that when I use the software again for future assignments, I will be able to complete them better and faster instead of feeling confused when using InDesign.
