Session 9

I found the digital collage class very interesting and different from previous classes, we have used various materials in the tool box and term1 classes to make solid collages, but this time we did use special materials and various paints to create collages with the photos before scanning the collages into our mobile phones and using various retouching software to manipulate the collages. The combination of digital and physical collages was something I had not tried before and through the teacher’s introduction in class and the mobile retouching software shown in the power point, I learnt about many new applications and used them to complete my work such as Picsart, blend, fotoda and many more. Not only did they help me with this assignment, but I was able to use them to make more professional adjustments to the photos I had taken before, so I gained a lot of new skills through this class.
